Game has cross-save feature, which means that saved progress can be freely transferred between PC (both on Steam and Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch versions. What strikes the eye is the attractive and colorful art style, evoking associations with comic books. Hades has a very nice, three-dimensional graphic design (the perspective used by the developers forces the gameplay in two dimensions, but the models of characters, monsters and the game environment are made in 3D). The combat system prepared by the developers requires dexterity and is characterized by great spectacularity.
As we progress in the game we gain special skills, which makes the subsequent approaches are not monotonous. As this is a roguelike game, the fights are difficult - sooner or later we'll die, but only to return to the starting point, use the gained experience to develop the character and fight again, this time with new possibilities. To get out of Hades, we go through a series of randomly generated boards, killing increasingly stronger opponents. In Hades we observe the action from above, from the so-called isometric perspective. Disobeying his father's will, we set off on a journey, trying to get out of his kingdom and reach Olympus. In Hades: Battle Out of Hell we play as Zagreus, son of Hades, god of the underworld of the dead. Well-known independent studio Supergiant Games - authors of Bastion, Transistor and Pyre - is responsible for developing this title. In this production we play as a man trying to get out of the land of the dead - the titular Hades. Hades is a roguelike RPG set in the world of Greek myths.
