I never liked the EXTAS series, though, but many love it. Hoider tends to release excelent firearm mods, these usually follow a very low poly aesthetic that perfecty blends in with vanilla. They are extremely lightweight and optimized, and despite their age remain extremely enjoyable to use.
The various guns from War on Terror (bullpup pack, german engineering and others) by joe the pirate renain a mainstay in load orders. Ravenfield is honestly close to in my eyes surpassing skyrim in terms of how far mods can go in improving your experience.
